My camera memory card filled up just as I tried to get a video of the dance team today at church. I quickly switched to my phone so the quality isn't great...Jordan is the 2nd one...:) Today was her 1st time participating.

Yikes, it's been a long time since I have posted anything.....

Jordan is enjoying 2nd grade and Deacon is enjoying Preschool/Pre-K. We are staying very busy with school, homework, soccer practices/games and cheer practices/games. Jordan is playing soccer with Parks and Rec again and cheering for Taylorsville Bantum Football. She has also taken up Zumba with Mommy and we have a ball :) Deacon had his first field trip today to a pumpkin patch and an apple orchard. I cannot believe he will be in Kindergarten next year! Time definitely flies. We are looking forward to Fall/Halloween...Jordan, as of now, plans to be a cheerleader and Deacon is between Reggie Wayne, a knight & a power ranger (again).

Bike wreck :(

Poor Jordan took a spill with her bike this past Friday night. She came running in, bloody and crying. Knocked a tooth out (baby tooth), busted her lip, and scrapes to her face, hands and knees. Why can't I get the pics to rotate???

Random Summer Fun...

Here are some random summer pics so far....we have been doing lots of swimming, riding bikes, playing with friends, etc. Jordan completed the Summer Reading Program at the Library and got lots of fun little prizes. Deacon took swimming lessons and has come a long way in the pool this summer. Jordan starts her cheerleading this week and we are taking a vacation to Florida before school starts. Cousins Jaden and Jachin were in town visiting from Louisiana for 2 weeks! We had lots of fun, including swimming, Chuck E. Cheese, the fair, and 3 sleepovers!

Earlier this summer, Deacon took private swimming lessons...he started out not too sure about it but ended up making lots of progress:)...he's now jumping off the side with no help and putting his head under water...yay!

Finally...

Summer is here!

School has ended and Summer Break has begun! :). We have already hit the pool and Deacon is becoming quite the biker rider, NO TRAINING WHEELS! He and I will be heading back to CMO for a few Summer Camps and Jordan will split those days between Daddy, Granny & Grammy. We are looking forward to a fun summer with lots of time outside! Deacon will also be doing swimming lessons and Jordan will be starting her cheerleading program later in the summer.

Today we are off to Rascal Fun Zone to play games and ride go karts. Jordan's buddy Abby from school is coming along and they can't wait!

Mother's Day Weekend

Hope everyone had a Happy Mother's Day. Saturday was Jordan's last soccer game of the season, and the only game they lost all season. Good season Hurricanes! :) Sunday the kids surpised me with flowers and cards. It was so fun watching them plant :).
