Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful day celebrating. Daddy worked all night but woke us up bright and early when he got home (5:15am). We opened presents and and ate breakfast at home, and when Daddy hit the sack we headed over to Grammy and Pappy's where we had presents, lunch and birthday cake for Jesus. We will be celebrating Christmas with Uncle Eric on Tuesday and then with Granny and Granddad next week, as they were all out of town on Christmas Day.... December 2010 Pre Christmas

It's less than 1 week until Christmas! We have had lots of fun preparing! Christmas light looking, cookie baking, Christmas parade, shopping, etc. Not to mention all the snow we have had already! Jordan had her school Christmas program last week and has a field trip to North High School to watch The Nutcracker.

Fall/Halloween...

Happy Halloween! November has arrived, believe it or not. Soccer has wrapped up for Jordan and she is now fixated on her cheerleading class (Cheer Bears at the Columbus Gymnastics Center). She just had her Fall Party at school and got all O's on her report card :). Deacon is having a ball in the Purple Room at CMO....he can tell you about 10 of his states and something accociated w/ each of them! His favorite school song is "I'm in the Lord's Army".

Trip to Appleworks on 10-9-10

Fall is here...last weekend we we to Appleworks, or as Deacon calls it "Appleworkers". The weather was beautiful...the kids rode ponies, pet animals, went down a big slide, rode the train and had ice cream. It was a fun filled day. They are looking forward to Halloween. Jordan is going to be a police officer (like her favorite person...DADDY!) and Deacon chose to be a Red Power Ranger. Since school started, we have battled numerous fevers, sore throats and runny noses...it has been ridiculous. We are expecting a call from the Dr. on Monday...the nurse seems to think he will refer us to an allergist or an ENT. As a mom it's worrisome but I am so ready to get whatever this is taken care of! Happy Fall everyone!

Back to School

School has started back up and we are back at it. We were off to a bit of a rough start with sickness but we are all better again...knock on wood! :)
Jordan is now in 1st grade, and Deacon has moved to the Purple Room at CMO. Jordan has homework almost daily and Deacon is learning the Pledge of Allegiance, states, etc! Hard to believe it is almost Fall...
Jordan's fall soccer season has started, which is exciting. Aside from the occational 8 o' clock game on Saturday mornings, we love soccer seasons! Haha....Jordan is also into cheerleading right now, but we are hoping soccer takes the cake, lol. I have pics to post here but my computer isn't cooperating at the moment so check back ;).

Summer Recap

Been so longs since I last posted....here's summer in a nutshell! Basically consisted of a lot of swimming, playing outside in general and of couse FUN! Took a trip to the zoo just before school started. We were so sad to see summer end! :(

Jordan's Eventful 2 Days :)

Jordan has had a busy couple of days! Up until yesterday, she hadn't shown much interest in learning to ride a bike without training wheels. She has a scooter that she was always busy riding. Yesterday, however, she decided to hop on and practice by herself.....with success! Then, this morning, she finally wiggled that 1st loose tooth completely out! Horaay! Everyone pray that the tooth fairy remembers to show up tonight! ;)

Vacation May 2010

We recently took a vacation to Destin, FL. We had great weather and also celebrated Jordan's 6th birthday while there! Our condo...
