Christmas 2011

Hopefully you all had a Merry Christmas! We are having a good time, being on break, spending time together, and playing with our new toys. We enjoyed our annual trip to the Hob Nob in Nashville for Christmas Eve breakfast with lots of family. We spent Christmas Eve night/morning at home. Jordan and Deacon were so excited for Santa to come. They have never been a bit nervous to see him out and about but the thought of him coming in our house did make them a bit nervous...so they spent Christmas Eve on our bedroom floor in sleeping bags. Their first attempt to get us up was around 3am....Jordan had the hardest time sleeping all night! We finally gave in and all got up at 6am....they were thrilled. Santa brought them both a Nintendo DSI and a game to go with it. Jordan also got a canopy for her bed, as requested, and Deacon got a Hulk, Thor and Iron Man. We had breakfast and played for awhile then headed over to Grammy and Pappy's for more gifts and lunch...(and naps for Mommy and Deacon). We came home that evening for more playing and had brownies and mint chocolate chip pie for dessert, while singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. It was a great time for sure :)
