Visit to Illinois

We just got back from a 2 day visit in Illinois with Bernard's Aunt/Uncle and cousins. Our kids got to meet some of their cousins for the 1st time and had a ball. We went to the park, bowling, out to eat & played lots of WII! Jordan and cousin Brooklyn. Jordan was ready to bring her home with us!

February Update

Last week I took Jordan to see the Justin Bieber movie, which she absolutely loved. Meanwhile, Daddy took Deacon to Target to use some $ he had to buy a Dinosaur Train toy. Monday the 1st graders had a Cinderella Ball at school, which we all went to. Jordan also lost her other top tooth and received $2 more from the Tooth Fairy! She is saving her allowance to go w/ me to get a pedicure on my birthday. :)

Jordan lost her 3rd tooth this week....a top one this time :). The Tooth Fairy delivered $2. We also had ANOTHER snow day today. We played outside and Daddy tied a rope to the back of the mower and took us on sled rides. I also went this morning and got Deacon signed up for Little Seeds Pre-school. He will be going there next Fall, in addition to CMO. He's so excited. Proud of her lost tooth...

No More Paci

Well, we finally did it. Deacon is paci free. I knew it was getting ridiculous but when the New Year hit, it dawned on me "Oh my gosh, he will be 4 in two months!". I dreaded it but I knew it was time. The first night was rough but it has gotten easier, and last night he didn't even ask for it. HORAAY! Surprises along the way have kept him motivated....a trip for a doughnut breakfast after night #1, a cupcake from the store after night #2, etc. He's proud of himself :)

Merry Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful day celebrating. Daddy worked all night but woke us up bright and early when he got home (5:15am). We opened presents and and ate breakfast at home, and when Daddy hit the sack we headed over to Grammy and Pappy's where we had presents, lunch and birthday cake for Jesus. We will be celebrating Christmas with Uncle Eric on Tuesday and then with Granny and Granddad next week, as they were all out of town on Christmas Day.... Gingerbread train fun.....just before Christmas

December 2010 Pre Christmas

It's less than 1 week until Christmas! We have had lots of fun preparing! Christmas light looking, cookie baking, Christmas parade, shopping, etc. Not to mention all the snow we have had already! Jordan had her school Christmas program last week and has a field trip to North High School to watch The Nutcracker.

Daddy helped Pappy do snow removal. We surprised him w/ hot chocolate.

Fall/Halloween...

Happy Halloween! November has arrived, believe it or not. Soccer has wrapped up for Jordan and she is now fixated on her cheerleading class (Cheer Bears at the Columbus Gymnastics Center). She just had her Fall Party at school and got all O's on her report card :). Deacon is having a ball in the Purple Room at CMO....he can tell you about 10 of his states and something accociated w/ each of them! His favorite school song is "I'm in the Lord's Army".

Kids went trick or treating in our neighborhood as well as Miss Kit's house and grandparents' houses!
Here are a few recent pics...
