Back to School

School has started back up and we are back at it. We were off to a bit of a rough start with sickness but we are all better again...knock on wood! :)
Jordan is now in 1st grade, and Deacon has moved to the Purple Room at CMO. Jordan has homework almost daily and Deacon is learning the Pledge of Allegiance, states, etc! Hard to believe it is almost Fall...
Jordan's fall soccer season has started, which is exciting. Aside from the occational 8 o' clock game on Saturday mornings, we love soccer seasons! Haha....Jordan is also into cheerleading right now, but we are hoping soccer takes the cake, lol. I have pics to post here but my computer isn't cooperating at the moment so check back ;).

Summer Recap

Been so longs since I last posted....here's summer in a nutshell! Basically consisted of a lot of swimming, playing outside in general and of couse FUN! Took a trip to the zoo just before school started. We were so sad to see summer end! :(

Jordan's Eventful 2 Days :)

Jordan has had a busy couple of days! Up until yesterday, she hadn't shown much interest in learning to ride a bike without training wheels. She has a scooter that she was always busy riding. Yesterday, however, she decided to hop on and practice by herself.....with success! Then, this morning, she finally wiggled that 1st loose tooth completely out! Horaay! Everyone pray that the tooth fairy remembers to show up tonight! ;)

Vacation May 2010

We recently took a vacation to Destin, FL. We had great weather and also celebrated Jordan's 6th birthday while there! Our condo...

Wow, it's already May! For our family, that means Mother's Day, Jordan's birthday, school getting out, and a beach vacation! We are excited for all of these things! 2 things Jordan is very into right now....writing and her dad!

Easter

Happy Easter! Well, poor Deacon is sick again. His fever was up and down all day but he was a trooper. I stayed home from church with him and he rested until we headed out for the afternoon. This was Bernard's weekend on at work so he aside from church, he had to miss out on the day. The kids and I went to both sets of grandparents house for food and treats :)

The easter bunny came and left the baskets up high on top of the entertainment center. He must be aware of our dog Shelby's love for candy ;)

Happy 3rd Birthday Deacon!

Deacon's Birthday is March 21 but due to Bernard's schedule and other things going on, we treated his bday as if it were March 18 :)....we spent the day at the Childrens' Museum (mainly because of the Bob the Builder Exhibit) then came home and had a family party! A fun filled day! This is what Jordan got Deac for his bday....a learning laptop, and he loves it!
